Raw.....

Just a short post this evening as I managed to sit up way too late last night messing around with images, on the Internet and also having discovered a free website for designing your own website, messing about with that till nearly 2am!, and when i had to be up for an early meeting for work I realised that wasn't quite such the bright idea it appeared last night!  I tend to get so overly engrossed when I'm messing about with photography! I'm guessing that comes from being a little bit of a perfectionist with a number of aspects of my life but when I putting myself out there in terms of what I am creating it has to be right in my eyes to do so!, hence I often tend to 're-do' many of my images over time.

So tonight I am limiting myself and having an 'early' night! (she says at 23:29PM!) but I'm writing this and then popping off and I'm going to keep it short and sweet this evening. 

The title of this post is 'Raw' and I feel I must confess that I have never, until the last few days, shot any images in Raw!  I feel like this is a bit of a crime!, and have now vowed to do so from now on.  Not being hugely technically minded I really should find out the pros and cons of this move but from what I understand it is the best thing to have when it comes to processing!, we shall see.  But this evenings images are two very small and perfectly formed pretty little flowers.  I've purposely kept it simple and soft to show how delicate they are.

I shall continue to pull together my new little website and will share this when I'm happy it's ready to be viewed!

Becoming Regular.....

So...another quick entry on the JaneyJane blog.  Again nothing to intersting as i'm struggling to find something interesting to photograph at the moment and as i'm trying to keep this going as more of a 'photo blog' I don't want it to get too bogged down with the mundane boring things that happen day to day...although I have named it as such!

This evenings images are just a few from the flowers that are in the garden at the moment, i'm quite enjoying the world of nature and gardening, perhaps an age thing i'm not sure ;O) but for me it's giving me the opportunity to get the camera out and have a play as it's been quite some months since I got the kit out and took any kind of serious images!   So once again perhaps not the most interesting but for me I just love the colours and the fact that it means summer may be just around the corner!!...or here's hoping anyway!  Enjoy if it's your 'bag' or you are the slightest bit interested!....I may eventually get some of my more interesting images on here, which contain some nudity and are slightly erotic in nature!

Sheep.....

You may be thinking, if anyone is reading this of course, that what boring images being posted on this young woman's blog!  Well i've been sitting at my pc this evening, after PC World 'attempted' to fix it which involved them having my PC for the whole weekend, mumbling not very much today about what they actually did to it, me leaving the store with an apparently working PC with my RAM physically in my hand as opposed to it being in the PC and no explanation of what they had actually done...oh and perhaps the most important bit........£30 lighter for the pleasure!  I get the thing home, sadly excited that it may actually be working ok, but behold.....it ain't! It's blue screened again twice this evening and had a couple of other 'unexplained' shutdowns!!  I am going to attempt another update but I fear I will be back at the door of PC World first thing tomorrow demanding they sort it!, failign that i'll be spending a whole lot more than £30 in PC World........only this time on a nice new sparkly MAC!

So...whilst trying out my apparently in 'full working order' PC I was going through the images I took on my birthday weekend when a bunch of us, for my birthday, stayed at a fabulous old watermill for some R&R.  My images will get more intersting......'honest gov'!, but for the moment i'm just playing about and catchin up on images i've taken and not processed yet and of course still trying to get the hang of 'blogging' on this site and trying to make the most of it in terms of showing off my photography.....but in the meantime here are some sheep! ;O)

Blogging......

Slowly working my way around the world of blogging! 

This is the first time i've created and written a blog.  Not sure how long i'll keep it up or if i'll find it easy to write things down.  I've been pretty good at writing journals in the past, i've often found it a very useful tool when i've been 'going through' something emotional etc, but this isn't the intention of this blog.  Its intention is to start to get some of my photographic images out there and also their story as to how they came to be.  I have thousands of images i've taken since I began studying photography a number of years ago and i'd like to be able to show some of these images to the world I guess.  Some of them have more interesting stories than others and some will be just plain boring i'm sure!  I plan to show some of my more interesting images, those I would deem to be more of a 'photographic' nature as opposed to just 'snapshots' although I will of course be adding snapshots to tell a story when appropriate and necessary.

I'm unable to add too many at the moment as my pc died a little bit today so it is currently in for repair but once it comes back I plan to get stuck right in to all those images that are still sitting on the memory card in my camera or on the PC ready to go through post production.

In the meantime I post here an image I took in my garden earlier this week, the fruits of my grubby little hands of late, my first attempt at growing plants!.......such a grown up i'm told.......apparently!

I am reliably informed by my Train Driver boyfriend (Train Spotter really i'm sure!) that this is Chinese Train! ;O) what that means i have no idea!, being a woman I just liked the big red wheels! I'm sure there would be a great number of women who would be with me ont hat one!

I'm posting this image direct from 'Flickr', woohooo!!, as I have no desktop at the moment as it is at PCWorld being fixed! I'm obviously getting the hang of this 'blogging' malarky, even though i've still not managed to work out all the 'ins and outs' of the layout yet, but i'll get there eventually. But in the meantime i'll be adding images and some 'boring' posts to try and keep the attention of anyone who passes by ;O)

Under Construction........

The blog continues to be 'Under Construction'!  Being the 'perfectionist' I am, it'll take a little bit longer than a quick late hour or so to be happy with the layout of this!  But here is a re-worked image 'I did earlier' as they say.  N'night for now :O)

So here we are......my first official blog! It's at the embryonic stage whilst I try and work it all out.  I'm hoping to use it as a platform for showing some of my photographic images.  Like many people out there I fancy myself as a little bit creative with the camera shooting a range of subjects.  I will be putting on many images that i've taken in the past as well as new stuff, it'll be slow at first until I get the hang of this blog business.....so bear with me, it'll start dull but hopefully it'll become a little more interesting.
